My name is Shalimar and I am a beautiful, playful but extremely shy girl tabby who is looking for a loving sand very patient home. I had some very stressful experiences, including a couple of weeks at the Kitty Beautiful, which was a bit overwhelming for my shy nature. I do want to be loved but am nervous of being handled. I like to watch what my are doing and be near enough to see them, but out of reach of being picked up. When they do manage to pick me up I will snuggle against my foster mum. When you are settled for the night I will sleep at my foster dad's feet. I do not need a mega quiet house. There is always a lot of activity here, but I do need patience, understanding and no grabby hands. I would love other cat company. My foster mum says I remind her of the shy school child who wants to be accepted and have friends, but who is too scared to trust and join in. Do you have the patience to help me be part of your family? I have a lot of love to give to the right person.

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
