Well, the humans call me Goober. Don’t know why they chose that name for me, but I kind of like it.
I’ve seen a lot in my years and the young whippersnapper kittens call me a wise old man. Those young things come up to me and I show them just how awesome it is when a human pets you. I sure missed that when I was on the streets fending for myself.
You see, my last owners left me outside to fend for myself. I’m not sure how many years passed, but I was sure lonely. Sure, the other cats kept me company, but it’s just not the same as being in a warm home with humans there to pet you and love you. I’m so happy that human found me and took care of me!
I really love being pet too! It’s the best thing in the world! I will purr my heart out if you scratch my head and will knead if you find that perfect spot under my chin! My favorite though is lying with humans in bed and pressing right up against their side so I can keep them warm.
I’m pretty happy here in my foster home, but I would really like a home to call my own. While I enjoy having all these kitties for company, I really want a person that I can call my own. One that will love me no matter what. One that will never abandon me again.
