Cats-Can recently answered a plea for help from someone who was forced to find a new home for her beautiful Siamese, Tripod. Her owner writes:
"We are searching for a forever home for our Siamese cat, Tripod. He's an awesome, fun loving, 10 year old Siamese neutered male. He is missing one foot, but that doesn’t slow him down! We adopted him from a shelter 5 years ago and he's been a loving addition to our family. Due to unforeseen circumstances we can no longer keep him. Our 2 year old granddaughter has been hospitalized twice due to being highly allergic to him. She is now moving in with us so sadly we have no option but to relocate him to another family. He's up to date on shots and recent blood test and urinalysis showed that he is in perfect health.
Tripod is great with other animals but doesn't really want to "play" with other dogs. He's fine around them as long as they don't jump on him to play. His reaction is to hiss and try to swat them but that's the extent of it. He loves affection and wants tons of cuddles. We are heartbroken to see him off but hopefully someone is looking for a Siamese love muffin. Thanks for considering adding him to your family!"
