Hello! My name is Peter. I like long runs through your feet on the way to the food bowl and am an expert cuddle bug in bed. My favorite pastime is laying in laps and gently rubbing my head all over your arm, chest, neck and face. It may be accompanied with a bit of drool, just means that I REALLY like you!
Overall I'm just a spectacular boy looking for a way to worm myself into your heart. I love everyone I meet and just want to hang around people looking for head butts and belly rubs.
I came to my foster in a not so great way. She was alerted to a house that was in really rough shape and a number or injured kitties running around outside. I was one of those injured kitties. I have something called pillow foot. It where my feet swell up and if they get really bad they'll crack and bleed. It was not helping that I was walking on hot cement and broken glass. But my foster mom took me in and my feet look awesome now! I still have a couple small hot spots that the vet thinks might always be there, but my monthly meds are affordable, around $60 a month, and I'm really good at taking them with no fuss what so ever.
I would love a home where I can retire and just love all the people all the time. Someone who wouldn't mind that I'm a little different and need just a bit more care. Because of my feet I can never go outside again and really have no desire too, ac is too nice! Please take me home and let me be your one and only.
This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested positive for FIV and negative for FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.

Special Needs: Peter had an occurrence with Pillow Foot (Pododermatitis) this does have a potential to come back, but if inside and have constant care of his feet it is unlikely. If it does come back it is easily treatable with antibiotics and steroids.
Peter is also FIV positive. This is not a huge deal, but it explains the severity of his pillow foot. If this is closely monitored he can live a long and happy life drooling in your ear.
